About Ballet Central
History
Ballet Central has been Central School of Ballet’s touring company for twenty three years. The tour is a regular fixture on the UK’s touring calendar and the performances are much anticipated throughout the UK.
The company is comprised of the School’s final year students as part of their BA (Hons) Degree course. Central School of Ballet is the only classical vocational school to offer an Honours Degree and pre-professional touring experience on such a scale. It has been a springboard for hundreds of dancers into the dance profession professional.

Ballet Central is committed to taking entertaining and accessible dance to areas often over looked by other touring companies The company keeps ticket prices low so that dance is affordable for all. New dance works are regularly comissioned so that regional audiences get to see world premiers each year.
